Temperance – about moderation and patient adjustment: different parts blend in the right proportion, creating something that was in none of them. This is the arcana of long‑term work in small steps.

Eternal middle ground: refusal to choose is presented as balance, and caution as wisdom.

An arcana by itself is not a verdict nor a characteristic: it answers the question of the position it occupies. The same arcana in the centre and in the relationships area indicates different things — in the centre about what the person returns to, in relationships about how they approach. Therefore, reading the matrix starts with the question of the position, not with the name of the arcana.
