The Empress

The Empress – about growth and nourishment: body, home, pleasure, the ability to create an environment in which something lives and grows. This is the arcana of generosity that comes from abundance, not from obligation.

Care that does not ask and does not let go. Consumption instead of joy: pleasure becomes a way to silence emptiness.

An arcana by itself is not a verdict nor a characteristic: it answers the question of the position it occupies. The same arcana in the centre and in the relationships area indicates different things — in the centre about what the person returns to, in relationships about how they approach. Therefore, reading the matrix starts with the question of the position, not with the name of the arcana.
