The Hermit

The Hermit – about turning inward and seeking one’s own answer instead of the accepted one. This is the arcana of maturity that comes from spending enough time with oneself.

Isolation from fear, not by choice. Pride instead of clarity: solitude is explained by the belief that no one around understands.

An arcana by itself is not a verdict nor a characteristic: it answers the question of the position it occupies. The same arcana in the centre and in the relationships area indicates different things — in the centre about what the person returns to, in relationships about how they approach. Therefore, reading the matrix starts with the question of the position, not with the name of the arcana.
