The Moon

The Moon — about what is not seen directly: fears, forebodings, vague images. This is the arcana of working with the unseen, where distinguishing intuition from anxiety is essential.

Illusion taken as fact, and anxiety as a habitual way of living: danger is imagined where none exists.

An arcana by itself is not a verdict nor a characteristic: it answers the question of the position it occupies. The same arcana in the centre and in the relationships area indicates different things — in the centre about what the person returns to, in relationships about how they approach. Therefore, reading the matrix starts with the question of the position, not with the name of the arcana.
