Ephemerides

Tables of celestial body positions for specific times. The platform takes them from the NASA JPL DE440 core, not from pre‑compiled collections.

What it means

Ephemerides — tables of the positions of celestial bodies for moments in time. They used to be printed books, now they are numeric files: the platform uses the JPL DE440 core from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The degrees in the chart are taken from them, not from approximate formulas.
